As explained in our release dated May 13, 2023, since around April 2023, we have intermittently confirmed that numerous documents have been sent from an individual believed to be a specific person to our company and our group companies’ business partners, etc. These documents contain false accusations such as “our company’s involvement in copyright infringement and gambling activities,” slander our company and our Representative Director, Mr. Keita Sakakibara, and recommend refraining from doing business with our company and our group companies. We recognize these defamatory acts as extremely malicious and utterly unacceptable.
Regarding these defamatory acts, our company is continuously taking a firm and resolute stance, and we are sequentially consulting with the relevant police stations and our legal counsel regarding the damages incurred.
On behalf of our company, we sincerely apologize for causing concern to our business partners and all other concerned parties due to these defamatory acts, and we kindly ask for your understanding regarding our aforementioned response policy.
Furthermore, we are very sorry to trouble you with another request, but if you become aware of such acts or similar acts, we kindly request your cooperation in providing information to our company in order to implement appropriate measures, including legal action.
